Renee (Founder)

Hi, my name's Renee Ball and I am the founder of The Lactation Station. I will also answer to other names like "MUM" or "BABE", however this is generally when something is needed so I don't tend to answer right away.

In between being a mum to my gorgeous daughter Honor and wife to my handsome husband Tim I started my business "The Baker's Daughter" making delicious Lactation Cookies for other breastfeeding mothers at their request because the cookies just tasted so good not to share and they really worked.
I guess some would say I was destined to work within the food industry. My father Roy West is one of New Zealand's Top bakers meaning I literally grew up in bakeries although I never dreamed of becoming a baker myself but I guess that is what I am now and Lactation products is my specialty.

Originally from Auckland, my family and I made the move to Papamoa, Tauranga to get out of the rat race and we will never look back. Since moving down here I have helped Tim to start his Fitness Business called Primal Strength & Conditioning and along the way have learnt how to run a company successfully which then lead me to finally having the confidence to take my business to the next level and so "The Baker's Daughter" became "The Lactation Station" in 2017.

Since the relaunch, The Lactation Station has taken leaps and bounds within the New Zealand baby industry and I am very proud to now be the leading selling of New Zealand made edible Lactation products available within 80+ stores nationwide.

With our newest addition being added to the family in November 2019, I will be juggling life with 2 kids and a growing business. It's going to be a juggle but with the amazing support I have around me from family and friends, we will make it work.
